Reset Polarity
The FPGA bootproms allow the polarity of the OE/RESET entry (reset polarity) to be programmed during operation in the switch.
One can access the reset polarity via the Reset Polarity button in device Options. Please note, this applies for programming as well as for read/compare, or saving.
Prior to programming, select the desired polarity setting from the Reset Polarity list: The reset polarity can only be programmed together with the data.
After reading the reset polarity, the setting read will then be highlighted in the "reset polarity" list.
The reset polarity is then entered into the Data Buffer at a specific location. (For more information on this please consult the additional documentation regarding different devices.)
Saving the information concerning the reset polarity may be transferred to the file if reset polarity was selected.
Please observe that when loading a file containing the reset polarity data, access to that data is not automatically enabled.
