panel.alpha
Determines the transparency of a transparent panel. At
0
the panel is totally transparent, at 100 it is totally
intransparent. Panel elements like buttons inherit the
alpha
value from the panel. This way panels, buttons etc. can smoothly be faded in
and out.Range:
0 .. 100
(default: 50)Type:
varRemarks:
- For panel transparency, the
TRANSLUCENT
flag must be set or an alpha channel image (
TGA 32 bit, or
DDS) must be used.
- Alpha channel images (TGA, DDS) are displayed at their normal transparency
with the default alpha value of 50. To make them
'more transparent', use alpha values below 50. Values
higher than 50 have no influence on alpha channel images.
Example:
my_panel.transparent = ON;
my_panel.alpha = 0; // Panel 100% transparent
while (my_panel.alpha < 100)
{
my_panel.alpha += 20*time_step;
wait(1);
}
my_panel.transparent = OFF;
