Template7 User Guide
Template7 ("t7") extends the core A7 game engine making it easier to create your game. Once "t7" is installed you can:
- Create a new game projects quickly.
- Add game elements using only GUI tools (no coding needed).
- Have access to a library of tested game elements ("Components") to use in your own code.
The following files should be installed:
- "t7.dll" in the "acknex_plugins" folder.
- "templates" folder in the GStudio7 root folder.
- "t7" folder in the include folder.
- "wdlv.dll" in GStudio7 root folder (if you want to use WED).
The easiest way to create a project is to use the WED "Project Wizard".
Simplely launch WED and select "Project Wizard" from the File menu. Follow the instructions given in the dialog boxes.
The rest of this document is a reference manual for the files in the "t7" folder.
