View Menu
| GXL Properties | List the properties of the graphics library used for the 2D and 3D views, and allows adjusting the level lighting and rendering in the 3D view. |

| Toolbars | Enables or disables toolbars and the project window. |
| Add View | Adds other view windows in addition to the standard 4 editing windows. |

|
| Wireframe | Selects the wireframe rendering style of the 3D window. |
| Solid | Selects the solid rendering style of the 3D window. |
| Textured | Selects the textured rendering style of the 3D window. Textured rendering is not supported by the GXL BASE graphics library (see Preferences). |
| Draw Entities (2D) | Selects the entity drawing mode - wireframe, solid, or textured - in the 2D views. Textured entity drawing is only supported by the GXL DX9 graphics libraries (see Preferences). |
| Draw Entities (3D) | Selects the entity drawing mode - wireframe, solid, or textured - in the 3D view. |
| Goto Center | Centers the 4 editing views to the object scope. |
| Lock Views | By default, the 4 editing views focus on a common point in space. When you change the position of one of the views, the other editing views update themselves relative to the new focus point. The Lock Views command enables and disables this focus feature. When disabled, all the 4 editing views can move independently from each other. |
| Lock 3D View | Locks the 3D view only. |
| Decrease View Depth | To make it easier to see an editing view, WED doesn't display portions of a map beyond a certain viewing range. This menu commands decreases this viewing range (also available in GXL Properties). |
| Increase View Depth | Increase the viewing range (also available in GXL Properties). |
| Default Layout | Repositions the 4 editing windows back to the default desktop layout. |
