Delete Device and Empty Test

Regardless of the selections made in device Options the effects of the actions "Delete" and "Empty Test" always affect the entire device.

Memory Protect Function

This device allows the memory to be partially or even entirely protected against overwriting. In order to accomplish this, the device carries a "Program Protection Register". Please refer to the manufacturer's data sheet shipped with this device, for a detailed overview of the data inside the Program Protect Register.

Delete

Please note that a write-protected device can only be deleted if access to the Program Protection Register was enabled!
