The Adapter GALAD44-1

GALAD44-1 adaptable devices

There are obviously different ways to allocate pin numbers between two case designs - especially if one of the cases has four pins more than the other. In the market-place, two ways of allocating pins are now predominant (c.f. table). The type 1 allocations can usually be found with memory devices. The type 2 allocation on the other hand is with 83/87x51 type microcontrollers.

Selecting one type is effective through the plug-in jumpers J1 and J2.

Unfortunately there are still a few devices with pin allocations that do not comply with either of those types. They can not be programmed with the GALEP adapter.
