GALEP-Adapter 40-DIL => TSOP48

Adapter for memory devices in the TSOP-48 package to be used with the GALEP programmer (40 pin DIL). It cannot be used with other programmers.

This Adapter is required for the most of the memory devices, which come in the TSOP-48 package.
There are two positions to plug the upper adapter board onto the lower adapter board.

The position 1 (left) has a simple routing function for the most memory devices up to 8 Mbit, which are also supported in the SO-44 package (with adapter 210846).

The position 2 (right) allows to program memory devices up to 64 Mbit. To reach the full functionality with the 40 pin GALEP socket, the signals of 14 device inputs (address/control) are latched in an additional register placed at the lower adapter board.

For each position a special pin configuration at the GALEP socket is used, therefore it is very important to select the correct plug position and (!) the correct device type. The needed adapter type and position, which is shown in the program window after a device type selection, must correspond to the really plugged position before any further action.
