Adapter 40pin DIL into 44pin SOP for FLASH

Adapter for converting from a 40-pin DIL package to a 44-pin SOP package (for Flash-memory).
Two of the more common connecting-types for flash-memory are supported with this adapter. The appropriate connection type is set with four Jumpers. The list below gives some examples of certain connection-types and their appropriate jumper-positions.
Please follow the diagram below to connect the adapter onto the GALEP in the right orientation, and to correctly place the programmable device into the adapter.

Type 1 : 16/8-Bit Flash 29F100B/T, 29F200B/T, 29F400B/T, 29F800B/T von AMD und Fujitsu,
28F200Bx-B/T, 28F400Bx-B/T, 28F800Bx-B/T von Intel
Type 2 : 8-Bit Flash 29F016, 29F032, 29F080, von AMD ( not implement yet ! )
The connection type is selected by means of four jumpers: J1, J2, J3 and J4.
Type 1 : J1=1-2 J2=1-2 J3=2-3 J4=1-2
Type 2 : J1=2-3 J2=2-3 J3=1-2 J4=2-3
Before inserting any device, please be sure to double-check the connection type by consulting the connection list below, and also the prescribed jumper positions

Generally, the adapter also works with programmers produced by other manufacturers. But itīs highly recommended that one compare the relevant pin connections.
