With this adapter you can program the most common microcontrollers and memories in a 44-pin PLCC package.

Semiconductor manufacturers have not able to agree on a standardized pattern for the conversion of 40-pin DIL packages into 44-pin PLCC packages. Therefore, as a rule, a special adapter is required for each device family.

However, our adapter supports five of the most typical connection patterns. You can select the pattern by simply re-inserting the upper board of the adapter (with the zero-insertion-force socket) into the lower board.

Please carefully note the correct orientation, when inserting the upper board into the lower board (see diagram above).

The diagram also illustrates how the adapter will fit into the GALEP.

The list below contains the connection pattern type for the most common devices. Of course the adapter also supports additional devices which are not listed. Using a datasheet, and the connection list below, you can easily find which connection pattern matches the desired device.

Generally, the adapter also works with programmers produced by other manufacturers. But it´s highly recommended that one compare the relevant pin connections.
